Manama, Bahrain–Bahrain and South Korea have reviewed ways to enhance diplomatic, economic and parliamentary cooperation and partnership to benefit the two countries.
In this connection, Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Political Affairs Undersecretary at the Foreign Affairs Ministry, has affirmed the keenness of Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to strengthen its cooperation and friendship with the Republic of Korea, in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree (60) of 2023 on establishing a Bahraini diplomatic mission in Seoul, and by activating the joint agreements to achieve common interests.
While receiving Kwon Eun-hee, the Chairperson of the Korean-Bahraini Friendship Group at the South Korean National Assembly, and her accompanying delegation, the undersecretary reviewed ways of strengthening joint diplomatic, economic and parliamentary cooperation and partnership, to benefit the two countries and contribute to consolidating security, stability, economic growth and peaceful coexistence in the Middle East and the world.
Kwon Eun-hee appreciated the existing solid cooperation and friendship relations between the two countries, hailing the steady growth of bilateral ties at the political, economic, social and parliamentary levels.
She wished the democratic and development process of Bahrain and its people continued progress.
