Working hours of public agencies in Jordan during the fasting month of Ramadan, expected to begin on April 2, will be from 10 am to 3 pm except for entities whose work requires otherwise, according to a prime minister’s decision announced on Sunday.

In a circular, Prime Minister Bisher Khasawneh called for observing the sanctity of the holy month. 

In a later statement, the Ministry of Labor said the reduction of working hours during the holy month does not include the private sector, and added that private entities can themselves decide.
