Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Saudi Arabia has attracted 135 million visitors to events hosted in 120 cities up to the first half of 2023,Turki Alalsheikh, the head of  Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority (GEA), announced it on social media.

The GEA has been instrumental in transforming Saudi Arabia’s entertainment landscape, issuing more than 14,000 licenses for various entertainment activities. Additionally, over 4,500 facilities have received licenses to support recreational activities across different sectors

The surge in attendance underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing its entertainment industry, featuring a diverse range of offerings, such as concerts, cinemas, theatrical shows, and competitions. The events have not only captivated domestic audiences but have also drawn the attention of international visitors.
