Dubai, UAE — Omar Matar Al Mannaei, chief executive officer and chief marketing officer of Emirates Auction, has been named among Forbes Middle East’s “Middle East’s Most Influential Chief Marketing Officers 2026”, the company said on Sunday.
The recognition honours Al Mannaei’s role in driving Emirates Auction’s digital transformation strategy and expanding the use of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies across its operations.
The company said the award reflects Al Mannaei’s leadership in implementing initiatives designed to improve auction efficiency, strengthen customer engagement and support long-term business growth.
AI initiatives drive growth
Emirates Auction said it launched an AI-driven customer acquisition and optimisation engine in 2025, resulting in a 38% increase in customer acquisition.
The company subsequently introduced an AI-powered unified data analytics platform, which it said contributed to a 14% rise in customer retention.
It also deployed an integrated AI-enabled omnichannel customer personalisation ecosystem that increased brand awareness by 20%, according to the company.
Recognition reflects digital strategy
“This recognition reflects the leadership position Emirates Auction has established in the digital auction sector and underscores the company’s success in being among the first organisations to embrace digital transformation and artificial intelligence in the management of both public and online auctions,” Al Mannaei said.
He said the award reinforces the company’s commitment to innovation, smart technologies and enhancing customer relationships while creating value for investors and customers.
Al Mannaei credited Emirates Auction’s employees for helping develop its digital platforms and smart solutions, saying the recognition would encourage the company to accelerate innovation and strengthen its position as a leading auction destination in the region.
Decade in leadership
Al Mannaei has served as both CEO and CMO of Emirates Auction since 2016, overseeing the company’s operational and marketing strategies.
He also sits on the boards of several organisations, including Emirates Parkings and Emirates Capital Investments.
Forbes Middle East’s ranking recognises marketing leaders across the region based on criteria including innovation, the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence in decision-making, and the measurable impact of marketing strategies on organisational growth and performance.
