Iraqi PM, Lebanese minister discuss economic cooperation

BAGHDAD, IRAQ –  Iraq Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani said that the country is continuing regional economic communication.

A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s media office said, “Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani received the Lebanese Minister of Energy and Water Walid Fayyad and the Deputy Director of the Lebanese State Security Hassan Shuqair.”

The statement issued on Saturday said , “During the meeting, the Iraq PM and the Lebanese minister reviewed various aspects of cooperation between the two countries and discussed ways to develop bilateral relations at all levels.”

The Prime Minister said, “Iraq is continuing regional economic communication, in the field of energy and plans to confront climate changes and their environmental and economic effects.”

He said, “Iraq supports stability and economic growth for itself and other friendly nations.”
