Middle East Energy expects 1,528 exhibitors for 50th Dubai edition

  • The exhibition will run from Sept. 1 to 3 at Dubai World Trade Centre under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.
  • Buyers participating in the event's Energy Club have more than $98 billion in live energy projects across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, organisers said.

Middle East Energy will host its 50th edition in Dubai next month with 1,528 global energy companies confirmed to exhibit, as the industry grapples with rising investment and infrastructure needs.

The exhibition will run from Sept. 1 to 3 at Dubai World Trade Centre under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and with the support of the Government of Dubai.

Exhibitors include Shell, Ducab, Riello UPS, TBEA, Emirates Transformer, AE Solar, Trina Storage, Jeddah Cables, TE Connectivity and Kirloskar, alongside more than 1,500 manufacturers covering transmission, distribution, energy storage, smart solutions, backup power and renewables.

Buyers participating in the event’s Energy Club have more than $98 billion in live energy projects across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, organisers said.

Trevor Ducharme, president of Global CMX, said the event comes at a pivotal time as energy investment, trade relationships and infrastructure development evolve.

“Middle East Energy arrives at exactly the right moment,” Ducharme said, adding that the event was aimed at those involved in capital deployment, asset development and government-to-government market links.

The exhibition will feature five conference stages and 250 speakers discussing power generation, grids, storage, efficiency and rising electricity demand from data centres and artificial intelligence.

Mark Ring, group director of Middle East Energy, said the 1,528 exhibitors reflected the industry’s interest in the Dubai event.

The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism said the exhibition would provide a platform for the global energy sector to innovate, share knowledge and develop partnerships as Dubai works toward producing all of its energy requirements from clean sources by 2050.

More than 30,000 attendees have registered for the September event, organisers said.

The 2026 sponsors include Riyadh Cables Group as executive partner, Red Sea Cables as principal partner, and Ducab and Jeddah Cables Company as strategic partners.

Riello UPS and Legnano Teknoelectric Company are supporting partners, while Comacon Technologies and Udot are lanyard partners.

Current Solutions Trading Co and Alkalefah Factory are Elite Lounge partners, Esyasoft is the Leadership Summit Associate Partner, and Trina Storage and SolaX Power are Premier Partners for the Energy Storage Forum.

Middle East Energy is held annually at Dubai World Trade Centre and combines an exhibition with five conferences and three co-located shows covering transmission and distribution, renewables, storage and backup power.
