Abu Dhabi Judicial Department sells 787 cars for $5 million at auctions

The ADJD facilitated the procedures by allowing the bidders to obtain the purchased vehicles immediately.
  • The vehicles were sold at competitive prices ranging from $544 to $69424.
  • The five-car auctions generated a high influx of bidders, whose number exceeded 1,200.

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has organized five-car auctions at the Al Mafraq vehicle impound area over the past three months in which 787 cars of different types were sold.

The vehicles were sold at competitive prices ranging from AED2,000($544.51) to 255,000($69424.77) and yielded a total of AED18.5m ($5m) at the auction.

The five-car auctions generated a high influx of bidders, whose number exceeded 1,200, in an intense competition for the cars on sale.

The ADJD facilitated the purchasing procedures by allowing the bidders to obtain the purchased vehicles immediately after the closing of the sale.

This allowed pre-sale inspection of the cars one day before the event, completing the procedures and delivering the vehicles to their new owners on the same day, while guaranteeing the rights of all parties.
