UAE to promote innovation in home businesses

United Arab Emirates is keen to promote national products and innovative productive ideas within home businesses, Minister of Community Development Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid said on Wednesday.

Speaking at a panel discussion about “Innovation in Home Businesses” which was organised by the Ministry of the “UAE Innovates-February 2022” and Innovation Week in Expo 2020 Dubai, Buhumaid highlighted outstanding experiences and success stories for national entrepreneurs and small business owners to inspire the UAE productive families.

The panel discussion was held in ‘Festival Garden’ space hosting the activities of “UAE Innovates” in Expo and attended by the staff of the Ministry, young people and directors in addition to the Mohammad Bin Rashid Innovation Centre and a number of Expo 2020 Dubai visitors.

The panel discussion was moderated by Aisha Al-Najjar, Director of Al Fujairah People of Determination Center. She  discussed ways and methods of promoting innovation to support home businesses.
