Jordan to provide facilities to its businessmen in China

Jordan will enhance cooperation and provide facilities to Jordanian businessmen in China, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Investment, Zaher Qatarneh said on Tuesday. 

In a meeting with a group of Jordanian businessmen in China held via Zoom in cooperation with Jordan’s Embassy in Beijing, Qatarneh said that the creation of the Ministry of Investment was based on a  vision to stimulate and attract foreign investments and enhance the competitiveness of key economic sectors in Jordan, a ministry statement said Tuesday.

He added that the work is underway to develop a strategy to draw foreign investments in priority sectors, especially in industry, tourism, information technology and health sectors.

Qatarneh highlighted key promising investment opportunities and benefits, in addition to the free trade agreements that paved the way for Jordanian products to access many competitive markets.
