On International Day of Happiness, UAE aims for best quality of life

UAE has maintained its first place among the Arab countries for the seventh consecutive year, according to World Happiness Report 2021.

The UAE is celebrating the International Day of Happiness, observed on March 20, with achievements and gains that enhance the happiness of the entire society.

Speaking on International Day of Happiness, he said, “The UAE aspires to maintain its leading position among the happiest countries in the world and a favored destination for living and well-being.”

”As we mark the International Day of Happiness, the UAE is still strengthening its position in many global indicators in this regard,” he noted.

The country has maintained its first place among the Arab countries for the seventh consecutive year, according to World Happiness Report 2021.

Also, it is still maintaining its upward trend in the results of the happiness indicators, the minister said.

”This clearly reflects the UAE government’s commitment to promoting happiness as a way of life and governmental approach, added the minister.

It makes “the UAE a world destination for happiness, in accordance with its aspirations for the next fifty years and the UAE Centennial 2071,” he added.

He remarked that “the ministry is launching initiatives to spread happiness in an innovative concept based on international best practices.”

This involves “promoting community health and leveraging the latest technologies and innovations in health services such as artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, block-chain and big data,” he concluded.
