Zamil Air Conditioners & Home Appliances Company has secured a contract worth SAR44.1 million ($11.7 million) from Tatweer Buildings Company, said local reports on Monday, September 6.
The firm, one of the units of Saudi Arabia-based Zamil Industrial Investment Company, has through this deal been contracted to supply air-conditioning systems for government schools across the country, said the local reports.
Under this deal, Zamil Air Conditioners will reportedly supply more than 13,570 AC systems of varying sizes and refrigerating capacities for schools affiliated with the Saudi Ministry of Education.
The contract is expected to have a positive impact on the company’s financial results for the year 2021.
Zamil Air Conditioners was one of the first AC-manufacturing companies to have been established in Saudi Arabia.
Its projects include the Holy Mosque in Mecca, the Abu Dhabi Airport, and the Burj Khalifa Power Station.
