Jordan king Abdullah on Wednesday departed for the US to participate in the Sun Valley economic forum in Idaho.

The annual forum, which King Abdullah will be attending with Queen Rania Al Abdullah, brings together foreign and US political, economic, and media leaders to discuss global political and economic developments and their implications.

King Abdullah is scheduled to meet with top executives of major US and international companies on the sidelines of the forum to highlight Jordan’s recently launched Economic Modernization Vision and the investment opportunities it lists under promising sectors.
