UAE suspends coordination of humanitarian aid with Israel

Dubai, UAE – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has decided to halt its coordination of humanitarian aid with Israel following the death of seven World Central Kitchen humanitarian workers in Gaza, i24NEWS reported.

According to reports, the Emirati foreign ministry has expressed its outrage to the Israeli ambassador Amir Hayek over the incident. Efforts to address the situation are underway, with Israel’s Foreign Minister, Israel Katz, engaging in a phone conversation with his Emirati counterpart, Abdullah bin Zayed.

Yaakov Blitshtein, Director General of the Israeli Foreign Ministry, also held discussions with Ambassador Mohammed Mahmoud Al-Khaja in an attempt to find a resolution.

Ambassador Al-Khaja characterized the current state of relations between the countries as “the darkest day.”
