The UAE air defense forces have intercepted and destroyed two ballistic missiles targeting the country, the Ministry of Defense announced on Monday. On the other hand, Houthi ballistic missiles fell on some car workshops in the Ahad Al-Masarihah governorate in the Jazan region of Saudi Arabia.

The deals were announced by the Executive Director of the Military Organizing Committee of the Dubai Airshow 2021 Major General Staff Pilot Ishaq Saleh Al Balushi, and Lt. Col. Pilot Sarah Hamad Al-Hajari, Dubai Airshow spokesperson.

The first deal was signed with Airbus Defence and Space S.A.U., a Spanish company, to purchase refueling aircraft for the Air Force and Air Defense Command.
