UAE Space mission:  Sultan Alneyadi docks at space station

The SpaceX Dragon Endeavour spacecraft, carrying NASA’s Crew-6 astronauts including UAE astronaut Sultan Alneyadi, arrived at the International Space Station today, after launching from Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39A on Thursday. 

The crew consists of Alneyadi, NASA astronauts Stephen Bowen and Warren Hoburg, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev. 

Upon docking at approx. 12:43 a.m., the Crew-6 astronauts will join Expedition 68, consisting of NASA astronauts Frank Rubio, Nicole Mann, and Josh Cassada, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Koichi Wakata, and Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Prokopyev, Dmitri Petelin, and Anna Kikina. 

The Crew-6 mission is the sixth commercial crew rotation mission with SpaceX aboard the International Space Station and will be carrying out hundreds of experiments during their six-month stay. 

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said, “Crew-6 will be busy aboard the International Space Station, conducting over 200 experiments that will help us to prepare for missions to the Moon, Mars, and beyond, as well as improve life here on Earth. We look forward to seeing all that they accomplish.”
