Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed appoints two deputy rulers

  • These appointments were made by Sheikh Mohammed in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai
  • Both officials will assume their new positions immediately, according to the Dubai Media office

Dubai, UAE – Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, the Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, on Friday,  appointed Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum as First Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum as Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai.

These appointments were made by Sheikh Mohammed in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai and both officials will assume their new positions immediately, according to the Dubai Media office.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed currently serves as the Chairman of Dubai Media Council, while Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed holds the positions of UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.
