IsDB, SWCC sign agreement

JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA – The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) signed on Tuesday a general framework for cooperation between the two organizations in the Kingdom.

The President of IsDB Dr. Mohammed bin Sulaiman Al-Jasser and the Governor of SWCC Eng. Abdullah Ibrahim Al-Abdul-Karim inked the pact.  

The agreement includes a mechanism for exchanging knowledge and experiences.

The aim is to also transfer the extensive experience and knowledge of SWCC to the member countries of IsDB.

This collaboration will involve efforts from both parties.

Earlier Al-Jasser had emphasized IsDB Group’s dedication to accelerating efforts to develop a sustainable and inclusive green environment.

He made the comments while addressing the common challenge of climate action at the COP28 meetings in Dubai, UAE.
