Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) has announced the opening of specialized clinics on Saturdays across its network of services and institutions.
Consultation in pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, gastroenterology, cardiology, psychiatry, dentistry, ophthalmology, orthopedics, ENT, dermatology, and nutrition will be available at these clinics at SEHA’s
Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS), Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), Al Dhafra Hospitals, and Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC).
Dr. Marwan Al Kaabi, Acting Group Chief Operations Officer, SEHA, said a recent patient experience survey revealed that due to long working hours, most patients delay healthcare during weekdays.
“The Saturday clinics will now allow patients the flexibility to visit their preferred healthcare facility during the weekend,” Al Kaabi said.
In addition to the Saturday clinics, Al Dhafra Hospitals also announced the opening of evening clinics to meet the needs of patients and allow them the option to visit a healthcare facility at a time of their convenience, post working hours.
SEHA is an independent, public joint-stock company that owns and operates all public hospitals and clinics of Abu Dhabi. It operates
13 hospitals with 3,385 beds, 70 ambulatory care, family care and urgent care centers and three blood banks.
