The second edition of ‘HIVE Furniture’ Show, the first dedicated event in the Gulf region focusing on big box retailers and wholesale traders, will begin Monday.

The Expo Center Sharjah announced this, while confirming that the event will finish Thursday, 16th June.

The event is part of the Expo Centre’s plans to support the furniture industry, create new investment opportunities in the emirate and meet market demands.

This includes providing a platform for leading global and local furniture companies to forge business relationships and penetrate new markets.

The first edition in Dubai catered to big-box retailers and wholesale traders, while the second edition is set to have a broader B2B and B2C focus.

The first two days are dedicated to trade visitors and the latter two days are dedicated to general visitors.

Also, the second event is expected to host more than 100 exhibitors, including 50 global participants.

More than 2,000 visitors from around 25 countries could also visit the event to explore global manufacturers’ inventory.

Aside from an increase in the number of participants, the event’s duration has also increased from three to four days.
