New York, USA – UAE, France and India have discussed the need for enhancing global cooperation to counter energy and good security challenges.
The foreign ministers of the three countries met on the sidelines of 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan represented the UAE, while Catherine Colonna and S. Jaishankar represented France and India, respectively.
Sheikh Abdullah also discussed issues like climate change and methods to combat it at a global level, with the other two foreign ministers.
UAE is scheduled to host the 28th conference of the Parties (COP28) in 2023.
Sheikh Abdullah said the three countries have common visions to achieve sustainable growth and progress.
Jaishankar and Colonna highlighted the importance of strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership with the UAE.
