Jordan king discusses ties with US congressional delegation

Jordan’s king Abdullah received a US congressional delegation headed by US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations member Senator Mike Rounds at Al Husseiniya Palace on Sunday, .

The meeting, attended by Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, covered bilateral ties and the strategic partnership between Jordan and the United States, as well as means of expanding cooperation across all fields.

Discussions at the meeting also covered cooperation on cybersecurity.

King Abdullah expressed Jordan’s appreciation of the support provided by the United States in a number of sectors.

The meeting discussed political solutions to crises in the Middle East.

The US lawmakers stressed the United States’ keenness to bolster cooperation with the Kingdom and to continue supporting it.
