Saudi Arabia to host region’s first poultry event of its kind

Saudi Arabia is gearing up to host the first Middle East Poultry Exhibition and Conference next year, local reports have said.

The event will be held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from March 14 to 16 next year, said the local reports.

It aims to be a landmark event for the scientific and commercial exchange in the poultry industry at the local and regional levels, the reports added.

Announcing the exhibition and conference, the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture said the event would be held under the theme Contribution of Enhancing Food Security.

It is expected to see the participation of decision-makers and practitioners in the sector and public companies and authorities.

The ministry explained that the exhibition would focus on the importance and size of the Saudi poultry market at the regional level.

It is also expected to delineate how its achievements encompassed all supply chains in the poultry industry.

The Ministry went on to note that the exhibition is a platform for companies to enter the growing poultry market and take advantage of the opportunities to help shape the future of production in the industry.

It is expected to showcase the latest innovations, technologies, and solutions in the poultry industry in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East and North African countries.
