The policy aims carbon emissions reduction through increased consumption of biodiesel by 20 percent by 2050. “It will lower the carbon footprint of diesel cars by 75 percent in case of consuming biodiesel by 100 percent,” said Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of Energy.
