UAE, Algerian ministers discuss enhancing bilateral cooperation

ABU DHABI, UAE –   UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Algerian Minister of Industry Ahmed Zeghdar discussed enhancing cooperation in the economic, industrial and commercial sectors between the two countries.   

In a meeting between Sheikh Abdullah and Zeghdar in Abu Dhabi, they reviewed several issues of common concerns, including the UAE’s hosting of the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 28) this year.

The two ministers also reviewed ways to advance cooperation in areas that contribute to sustainable economic growth.

Sheikh Abdullah welcomed the visit of Zeghdar, highlighting the depth of the UAE-Algeria ties and both parties’ interest in boosting cooperation across several sectors.

Zeghdar reaffirmed his country’s aspiration to develop cooperation with the UAE in various sectors.

The meeting was also attended by UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi.
